| The Parade of the Lost Souls began at William and Cotton on October 28, 2006 and ended at Granview Park. Hundreds of people materialized in their costumes to celebrate the Cycle of Life, enjoying music, dancing and closing off Commercial Drive from 1st Avenue to Venables to all traffic from 6pm until late into the evening. | ||||||||||

The Festival began on Commercial Drive with a small parade that caught the attention of those on August 20, 2006. After the parade, everyone converged on Trout Lake in East Vancouver to celebrate the Latin Culture with its colourful spirit, arts, music and foods. The 28th Annual Vancouver Pride Parade started on Sunday August 6, 2006 at Denman and Robson Streets, continued down Denman Street, making its way along Beach Avenue to Pacific and Thurlow Streets.The parade went from 12 noon to 2pm and ended up at Sunset Beach where the festivities continued throughout the day. |

| On April 15, 2006 the Vaisakhi Day Parade began at Ross and Marine and proceeded west along Marine Drive then north on Main to 49th to Fraser, south on Fraser to 57th then east on 57th to Ross. This colourful Parade is essentially a harvest festival and new year rolled into one. | ||||||||||
